PLEASE NOTE: All dormitories are reserved for travelers only. We REQUIRE proof of ongoing travel, such as a plane ticket, gas receipts, international passport, or proof of activity while in town. We do not accept local IDs. Dorm beds are pre-assigned, and any guest found switching beds will incur a fine.

Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. and runs until midnight. Checkout is at 11:00 a.m. We keep things flexible with 24/7 front desk service. Need an early check-in or late checkout? If available, it's just a $25 fee.

PLEASE NOTE: Our lobby locks at midnight for safety. If you’re arriving after 12:00 a.m., email support@stay424hostel.com to arrange access. Otherwise, no entry for non-reserved guests after midnight.

If you cancel more than 14 days before check-in, you’ll get a full refund. Anything within the 14-day window is non-refundable. Reservations must be paid in full at booking. Last-minute cancellations, like booking a dorm when you meant to reserve a private room, still fall under this policy. Same-day cancellations will be charged in full.

Yes and no. We’ve got FREE street parking on Ashland Avenue – one of the last free blocks in the neighborhood! Just be mindful of street cleaning on Monday and Tuesday mornings during the fall and winter. Stay 424 Hostel isn’t liable for parking tickets, theft, or other issues – so lock up and keep valuables out of sight.

No, we don’t allow animals, but we do welcome service animals as defined by ADA Title II and III. If a service animal is acting out or left unsupervised, it will be asked to leave. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and pets are not allowed. Any damage caused by a service animal will incur a fee of up to $500.

Not inside. We’re a smoke-free space, but feel free to use our outdoor patio for smoking. Smoking marijuana inside the hostel or in your room will result in a fine between $250-$500 and immediate removal without a refund.

Absolutely! For a $25 fee, we’ll store your bags for up to 24 hours. Our space is limited, so make sure to check availability at the front desk.

We accept cash, debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Cash App, and Venmo. The payment card must be in the guest's name – we don’t accept third-party payments. Your card will be charged for the entire stay upon booking, and any declined cards will result in a canceled reservation.

Yes! All guests over 18 need a valid, government-issued ID. For dorm stays, we do not accept local IDs. Visitors also need valid IDs but can’t go beyond the lobby area. For more on our policies, check out our policies page.

Yes, guests staying in the dorm must be 18 or older. Private rooms don’t have an age restriction, so feel free to bring the family. If a parent or guardian isn’t staying, all guests in a private room must be 18+.

Yes, our private and dorm rooms share bathrooms with other guests. Bathrooms are cleaned daily and come with personal changing areas that lock for privacy.

We offer one co-ed dorm and four private room options. Dorm rooms come with lockers (you can purchase a lock for $10 at the front desk).

Stay 424 is a smoke-free building, and any smoking or vaping indoors will result in a fine of up to $500 and immediate eviction. For guest health and safety, we don’t allow tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes, incense, or strong-smelling oils inside. Smoking is permitted on our outdoor patio only.

It depends. Early check-ins and late checkouts are subject to availability and will incur a $25 fee. Call ahead at 773.353.2414 to see if we can accommodate your request.

Of course! Our Wi-Fi is fast, secure, and free. You’ll get the password when you check in.

No, all rooms are charged nightly with a maximum stay of two weeks. If you’re staying in a dorm, proof of ongoing travel is required.

Guests can only visit the lobby and must be accompanied by a registered guest. No guests are allowed in dorm rooms or beyond the lobby. For private rooms, the max occupancy is two people (or four for our double rooms). Unregistered guests will be asked to leave, and you may forfeit your room.

We love bikes! There’s a rack at the back of the building (bring your own lock), and we also offer secure bike storage in the lower level, accessible only by staff. Sorry, bikes can’t be stored in guest rooms.

Nope! Stay 424 has 24-hour reception, and someone is always available to assist you. Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. for everyone's comfort.

All guests must provide a valid government-issued ID and proof of ongoing travel if staying in the dorm. Local IDs are not accepted for dormitory stays.

All guests must have a valid (non-expired) government-issued photo ID and debit or credit card in the guest name with funds on it to check in.

Dormitory guests are REQUIRED to show proof of travel from 50 miles+ outside of Denver, including but not limited to a plane ticket, future hostel reservation, train ticket, or other, to stay in shared dorm rooms. This is a traveler's space, and we do not allow locals.

Photo copies or digital versions of ID or debit/credit card are never allowed.

We have two coin operated washing machines and two coin operated dryers on the Lower Level with each cycle per machine costing $1.75. Quarters are available at the Front Desk. Laundry soap is also available in the guest laundry area for $1.00 each. 

Guest laundry is only usable after  3pm to 11pm.  You must use your own detergent. There is no charge for using our washer and dryer.
